Angelina Jolie and Brad Pitt’s daughter Shiloh filed paperwork requesting to legally drop her famous dad’s last name amid the ongoing feud between the former couple
Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie’s daughter Shiloh has ditched her dad’s famous last name amid a bitter feud between her divorced parents.
This week on Memorial Day Shiloh Jolie-Pitt filed paperwork requesting a legal name change to drop “Pitt” from her last name and making her new name “Shiloh Jolie.” Shiloh, who is Brad’s biological daughter, wasted no time as she submitted the request the day she legally became an adult heading to the courthouse the day she turned 18 years old.
And while she hasn’t been granted the switch just yet, she will soon be following in the footsteps of her two adopted siblings who also opted to cut ties from their famous father’s surname. This includes the Mission Impossible stars’ two other kids 19-year-old Zahara Jolie and 15-year-old Vivienne.
This comes as sources close to Shiloh claim she wants to distance herself from her parents’ celebrity status and pave her own road to success without the help of their powerful last names. The 18-year-old is an aspiring dancer on the road to pursuing her passion in the entertainment industry after already going viral with her impressive skills on social media.
Shiloh’s dance instructor Keelan Carter sang the highest of praises for the young dancer as he proudly spoke of her hard work and dedication to the craft. She told the Daily Mail : “She is a sincere and straightforward person who never uses her celebrity status to her advantage. Shi does not rely on her famous name to achieve her goals.”

Keelan went on to claim that she wasn’t aware Shiloh’s parents were Angelina and Brad and added that he doesn’t think it matters. He told the news outlet: “I understand that it can be difficult to see the person beyond her celebrity status, but I urge you to make an effort for her. Believe me, it is worth it.”
Angelina and Brad share six children together who have been living with Angelina in Los Angeles following her bitter divorce from Brad. Angelina has primary physical custody of the kids, while Brad was given visitation rights to see them after their lengthy legal battle.
