King Charles might break a royal tradition in the upcoming significant event due to his ongoing cancer treatment.

For the unversed, the monarch will reunite with senior royals at Trooping the Colour but as per The Times, he will not take a horseride amid a health scare.

For the second time in a row, King Charles is reportedly planning to ride in the carriage procession instead of on horseback at the ceremony on Saturday.

Notably, the King’s hardworking sister, Princess Anne, took the reign of Noble, a black horse in 2023 after the monarch was not able to control the same horse while riding in 2023.

For the unversed, the monarch has been undergoing treatment for his undisclosed form of cancer.

Buckingham Palace announced in February 2024 about King Charles’ cancer diagnosis, leaving the royal fans devastated.

However, since then, Prince William and Prince Harry’s father showcased strength and determination by continuing back-to-back royal engagements.

Most recently, The Telegraph author, Camilla Tominey sparked reactions by sharing an update on King Charles’ medical treatment.

Quoting the Palace sources, she shared that the monarch’s treatment is going well but his cancer is “ultimately incurable.”

The royal expert added, “The talk now is that he may die ‘with’ cancer, but not ‘of’ cancer following a rigorous treatment program.”
