Kaley Cuoco Shares Photos from Daughter Matilda’s Minnie Mouse-Themed First Birthday Party: ‘Happiest Day’
The ‘Based on a True Story’ star’s baby girl turned one on March 30
Kaley Cuoco is sharing a behind-the-scenes look at her daughter’s first birthday celebrations.
On Tuesday, the Flight Attendant star, 38, posted photos on her Instagram Story of her baby girl Matilda’s fun-filled Minnie Mouse-themed first birthday party.
Cuoco first explained she was faced with planning a party for Matilda — who turned 1 on March 30 — as she was “currently living in a city I’m unfamiliar with” in Philadelphia, “not knowing many people or companies.” However, she added, she “nailed it” in the end.
The first snaps showed a pink balloon arch shaped like Minnie Mouse’s ears that was set up indoors for Matilda. Cuoco and her boyfriend Tom Pelphrey then appeared in front of the arch as they held Matilda, who was adorably dressed in a pink tutu and gold sequin Minnie Mouse ears.

“Started with the cutest Minnie Mouse balloon arch! Thank you @therainbowballoons for creating this! Tildy was obsessed,” Cuoco wrote in the caption. “Everyone got super cute pics in front of it! Adorable!”
Matilda’s birthday cake was revealed as a pink Minnie Mouse smash cake — which the little girl couldn’t wait to get into as seen in another snap shared by Cuoco.
“As you can see, Matilda enjoyed it lol,” she captioned the photo, showing Matilda’s mouth full of cake at the table.
In another cute shot, the birthday girl was seen surrounded by Mickey and Minnie Mouse soft toys on a staircase, which Cuoco said she’d purchased “for the kids to take home.”
“Tildy thought they were all for her lol,” she explained in the caption.
In another fun moment shared from the party, Cuoco posted a video of a “Classic Princess” bouncy castle she hired that she said was a “massive hit” with guests. “The kids were in this thing for hours lol,” she wrote.
The mom of one also revealed she organized face-painting sessions for the kids and twisted balloons at the party and brought ice cream and taco trucks for guests to enjoy.
In a final photo shared, Cuoco was seen clapping as she joined her daughter by the stairs beside the Mickey and Minnie Mouse soft toys.
“Happiest girl and happiest day! ❤️❤️❤️,” the proud mom concluded in the caption. “Thank you to all our friends and family who came out and made it extra special. I will remember it forever ❤️❤️❤️❤️.”
