Kate Middleton makes decision to protect her future Crown amid King Charles, Prince Harry feud
Kate Middleton is still reeling from the hurt and betrayal from her brother-in-law, Prince Harry, as she takes over crucial task from King Charles.
The monarch has a fondness for his ‘darling daughter-in-law’ and royal experts have suggested that Charles trusts her with important tasks and duties.
The Princess of Wales, who was battled cancer for nine months last year before remission, brushed aside her health woes as she took on an important responsibility for the monarch and the monarchy’s future.
Prince Harry, who once shared a close bond with Kate, had hurled plenty of insults at the royal family alongside his wife Meghan Markle. According to journalist Helena Chard, Kate took action as the “Sussexes aired more and more allegations, grievances and untruths against members of the British royal family”.
“While battling ill health, Princess Catherine sprung into protection mode,” the royal expert told Fox News Digital. “Her goals have been protecting the crown, future-proofing the monarchy, [honouring] the late Queen Elizabeth II’s legacy and protecting her children from Prince Harry’s hurtful commentary.”
Previously, it was reported that Kate has been acting as a mediator between Prince William and Harry. However, Chard explained that while Kate had been “saddened” by the rift, she will not be taking any kind of action.
“Catherine and Harry shared a fun humour and were often seen giggling together at events,” she added. “Sadly and upsettingly, Princess Catherine was dragged into the public negative narrative which was a real smack round the face for the kind sister-in-law who tried hard to be the peacemaker between the brothers.”
And while the mum of three was “genuinely happy” and “thrilled” when Harry met Meghan, she is unable to decipher why Harry “won’t bite his tongue and continues his destructive path”.
It seems evident that despite how close she once was with her beloved brother-in-law, the future queen is focussed on the Crown and protecting it with all she has got.
