The initiative, which aims to revitalise Dartmoor’s wilderness whilst building resilience against climate change impacts, brings together numerous partners to develop innovative approaches to land management.

The collaboration proposes new methods for grazing practices, biodiversity conservation and hydrological restoration across the Duchy’s Dartmoor estate.

William also met emergency responders who recently battled a wildfire on North Moor. He thanked representatives from the local Fire Service, Dartmoor National Park Authority Rangers and the Commoners Council for their efforts in tackling the blaze.
