King Charles expressed profound concerns in a new statement after receiving heartbreaking news from Australia.

As per GB, the monarch penned a personal touching message to send prayers and support to the people affected by the devastating flooding across the New South Wales Hunter and Mid North Coast regions of Australia.

The King said that he and his wife are keeping the victims of this big natural calamity in their thoughts with a special mention of family and friends of the five people who tragically lost their lives.

Charles and Camilla sent “prayers and the deepest possible sympathy to all who mourn them.”

He further wrote, “As the immediate emergency passes, I am only too aware that communities are confronting dreadful, soul-destroying damage to homes, properties and infrastructure, and the loss of precious livelihoods and livestock.”

King Charles praised the emergency services, the volunteers and organisations, and disaster recovery agencies, who joined hands to support each other on the long road to recovery.
