King Charles gives important instruction to William, Kate ahead of reunion

Prince William, Princess Kate and senior royals receive key message from King Charles

King Charles has reportedly sent a key message to Prince William, Princess Catherine and other senior royals ahead of their reunion at Trooping the Colour.

According to BBC, the monarch has asked the royal family to wear ‘black armbands’ at the parade in a bid to pay respect to those who suffered in a tragic Air India plane crash.

Buckingham Palace’s spokesperson confirmed that King Charles “requested a minute’s silence,” after the monarch inspected his birthday parade taking place today, June 14, Saturday, in London.

The royals will pay tribute to “the lives lost, the families in mourning and all the communities affected by this awful tragedy.”

For the unversed, King Charles earlier released a statement, expressing his extreme sadness over the horrible incident that caused loss of precious human lives.

He wrote, “My wife and I have been desperately shocked by the terrible events in Ahmedabad this morning.”

“Our special prayers and deepest possible sympathy are with the families and friends of all those affected by this appallingly tragic incident across so many nations, as they await news of their loved ones.”

The monarch lauded the heroic efforts of the “emergency services and all those providing help and support at this most heartbreaking and traumatic time.”
