Palace issues crucial King Charles health update after brief Canada visit

King Charles Canada tour raised concerns over monarch’s health after key detail emerged
King Charles returned from his important visit to Canada on Tuesday along with Queen Camilla, as concerns for his health grew.
This was Charles’s first tour to the country as King in which he made history by opening the Canadian Parliament for the first time in 68 years. The monarch had taken several trips to the country during the reign of his late mother, Queen Elizabeth, but none had been as short (mere 20 hours) despite the significance of this one.
Veteran royal experts noted that the duration of the trip raises many concerns about the monarch’s health as he continues to get weekly cancer treatment. Daily Beast’s Tom Sykes stated that this was “not normal”.
However, Buckingham Palace seemingly cleared any doubts about the matter as an aide shared that Charles is dealing with his condition “incredibly well”.
“The thing you learn about this illness is that you just manage it and that’s what he does,” the senior aide told The Telegraph. “Medical science has made incredible advances and I genuinely see no difference in him.”
They continued, “As long as you just do what the doctors say, just live your life as normal as possible… that’s exactly what he is doing.”
Previously, royal sources confirmed that Charles’s cancer treatment and schedule would remain “unaffected” by his visit.
Insiders shared that a careful plan was put in place to cater to the King’s health needs, especially to ensure that he returns to the UK in time for his treatment.
