Harry and William’s potential reunion discussed by Schofield
Prince Harry is due to return to the UK this week to mark the 10th anniversary of the Invictus Games, but it is unclear which members of the Royal Family he will reunite with.
The Duke of Sussex is scheduled to attend a thanksgiving service at St Paul’s Cathedral in London on Wednesday, May 8, and will deliver a reading during the ceremony.
No senior members of the Firm are expected to attend and while he is likely to meet with his father King Charles during his trip, a reunion with his brother Prince William is yet to be confirmed.
Harry is reportedly keen to meet with Charles during his visit. A source told The Mirror: “Harry has kept in regular contact with his father on several occasions and made no secret of his desire to see him when he can.
“He has been especially concerned about him and hopes the King will be well and able to see him as planned.”
Don’t miss… William won’t see Harry on UK visit for nine-word reason
The pair last met in February on Harry’s last visit to the UK when he returned to London briefly following the public announcement of the King’s cancer diagnosis.
William and Princess Kate are said to have no intention of seeing Harry. A friend of the couple told the Daily Beast: “Both sides understand each other’s position clearly.
“William and Catherine felt completely betrayed by Harry’s memoir. They don’t speak to Harry and Meghan, and they are certainly not about to start when Catherine is at her most vulnerable.”
