Prince Harry is seemingly in the midst of a major decision just a week after his senior aides conducted a meeting with King Charles’s right-hand man.

The Duke of Sussex has been embroiled in a years-long feud with his cancer-stricken father and brother Prince William. While the King is a little more agreeable for a true, William is strictly against the notion of reuniting with Harry.

As the lines of communication open between Harry and Charles via their aides, the Duke still faces a major blockade in his reconciliation and potential return to the UK. Harry is expected to travel back to his home country for the WellChild Awards in September.

According to royal author, for any plausible action taken in Harry’s case, it is necessary that he is able to talk to the King directly as the Firm wants nothing to do with him.

“Harry needs a meeting with Charles to show he is part of the Royal Family and to establish his credibility in Britain,” royal author Tom Bower told The Mirror. “But as long as the Palace won’t give him access to Charles, he can’t take the first step.”

Bower noted that the palace “suspect that the moment [Harry] meets Charles, he will use it to establish his credibility, because that’s what he desperately needs, and that’s also why he’s kept away.”

When Harry will come to UK, Charles and Camilla will be in Scotland for their annual holiday in at Balmoral Castle. The expert mentioned that Harry will not be invited to Balmoral for a meeting.

“My money would absolutely be no. If he did meet him, it would be in private. A lot depends on Charles’s health, that is the unspoken issue in Britain today,” he stated.

Bower shared that the King’s top aides are “irritated” by Harry and find his problems to be “irrelevant”. Their prime concern is the monarch’s health and then William’s succession.

“[Harry] can’t even get him on the phone because they don’t trust him and they’re angry with him. They don’t understand his motivations.”
