Prince Harry ‘confused’ why royals have cut him off, wants to support Kate Middleton ‘in person’: report

Prince Harry is “confused” as to why he and and his wife, Meghan Markle, have been cut off by the royal family, according to a report.

The Duke and Duchess of Sussex quit royal life in 2020 and moved across the pond to start afresh.

Since then, they’ve been estranged from the senior members of the Firm and have only returned to London a handful of times.

Now, a source has claimed that Harry — who, along with his wife, wasn’t invited to the Trooping the Colour ceremony earlier this month — has realized that he’s “a proper outsider.”
“He’s heartbroken and confused by the way they’ve cut him off and seemingly haven’t given it another thought,” a royal insider told Closer magazine.

“Harry was very upset and emotional when he saw the footage of Kate [Middleton] at Trooping the Colour.”

The source added that Harry — who is set to receive the Pat Tillman Award for Service at the 2024 ESPYs — has been “so worried” about the Princess of Wales since learning of her cancer diagnosis.

“Whilst he has managed to connect with her on a few occasions it’s not nearly as often as he’d like,” the insider added.

“He would have dearly loved to have been there, if only to congratulate and support Kate in person on what must have been an incredibly difficult day for her.”

The Sussexes were not invited to this year’s annual celebration of the British monarch’s birthday — making it the second year in a row.

“The fact he’s got to watch on TV or via the internet from 6,000 miles away just made him so sad. It really hammers home how he’s a proper outsider at this point,” the source said.

“He’s incredibly proud of her and encouraged that she obviously has very good doctors and appeared to be healthy and in good spirits.”

“But the fact he can’t bond with his beloved sister-in-law in person is a kick in the guts and something he finds incredibly difficult to live with,” they added.

Earlier this week, it was reported that Harry and Meghan have been itching to reconnect with Princess Catherine.

The pair had reportedly reached out to the mom of three before her defiant return to the spotlight on the Buckingham Palace balcony.
