Prince Harry makes surprise call for reconciliation with ailing King Charles

King Charles receives ‘terrible’ message from Prince Harry as feud worsens
Prince Harry took a big U-turn after expressing a desire to mend a years-long rift with the royal family.
For the unversed, the Duke of Sussex said in an interview with BBC that he wants to reconcile with the royals following a major setback in his UK security case.
He revealed that his father, King Charles, is not talking to him due to his legal battle in their homeland, also showing concerns about the monarch’s health as he undergoes cancer treatment.
However, soon after making a peace talks offer, Daily Mail claimed that Harry ‘sought advice’ from his uncle Earl Spence related to changing his royal surname Mountbatten-Windsor to Spencer, in a bid to honour his late mother Princess Diana.
Speaking of Harry’s surprise move, royal commentator Charles Rae said that he sent a ‘terrible’ message to senior royals after the surname controversy which arose from a seemingly authentic source.
In conversation with The Sun, he said, “It was only less than a month ago that he was pleading for a reconciliation with his father and his brother.”
Charles added, “And the next thing we hear, and I think the story was well sourced, he wants to change the name from Mountbatten-Windsor to Spencer.”
“Well, that is sending a terrible message to the royal family that he doesn’t really want a reconciliation,” the royal expert stated.
