A close friend of Prince Harry’s is claiming that the Duke of Sussex is no longer on speaking terms with his father, King Charles III.
Despite the father-son duo’s meeting in February during Harry’s mad dash to London following the king’s cancer diagnosis, the pair’s communication has since become nonexistent.
And while their 45-minute meetup is said to have been positive, the monarch, 75, no longer takes his son’s calls or responds to his letters, according to those close to Harry.
“He gets ‘unavailable right now,’” the duke’s pal told People. “His calls go unanswered. He has tried to reach out about the king’s health, but those calls go unanswered too.”
As their relations continue to worsen, Harry has reportedly asked his father for help with security to ensure that his wife, Meghan Markle, and their children, Prince Archie and Princess Lilibet, are safe.
