Shocking revelation: Prince Harry ‘secretly’ contacted these family members amid rift with William and Charles
Prince Harry is ‘secretly’ in contact with these family members amid rift with William, Charles
Prince Harry is famously estranged from his big brother Prince William and his cancer-stricken father King Charles, as well as multiple other members of the British royal family.
But according to one expert, the fifth-in-line to the throne is still in close contact with relatives of his late mother, Princess Diana.
Harry’s mom, who was born Diana Spencer, has three living siblings: Lady Sarah McCorquodale, Lady Jane Fellowes, and Charles Spencer, 9th Earl Spencer.
Lady Jane’s husband, Lord Robert Fellowes, died July 29, with Harry jetting back to the UK to attend the funeral.
While there, the prince is alleged to have “secretly” stayed with his uncle Charles Spencer at Althorp House — which served as Diana’s childhood home.
The move seems to signify that Harry is still close to the maternal side of his family.
“Quietly, behind the scenes, it is obvious that the Spencer family have kept the communication channels open with Harry and that their affection for him is reciprocated,” royal expert Jennie Bond told OK!
“I’m sure Harry feels it’s important that he still has some kind of anchor here in the UK and, for now at least, it seems that it is with his aunts and uncle. And that has to be a positive thing.”
Meanwhile, Harry has purportedly remained on good terms with his paternal cousin, Princess Beatrice.
Beatrice is the only member of the royal family who may be able to “initiate peace” in Prince Harry’s ongoing feud with brother William, according to a former palace staffer.
As the feud continues to rage between the two camps, Beatrice has “spoken to the two brothers to try to improve the situation,” The Post reported last month.
