‘STAGED?’ Expert questions Prince Harry & Meghan Markle’s PDA for cameras | Palace Confidential
Our royal experts have been analysing Prince Harry and Meghan Markle’s very public display of affection at the Invictus Games in Canada.
The Daily Mail’s Richard Eden thought it was both ‘cringemaking’ and ‘certainly very unregal’ and suggests that the pair ‘get a room’. He also questions whether the recent criticism of Meghan by Donald Trump might have made them feel a need to show that all was happy between them.
Charlotte Griffiths from the Mail on Sunday meanwhile believes that there was a commercial reason for them ‘dialling it up a bit’. ‘They had to get the headline-grabbing pictures in all the papers and all the magazines because Meghan is finally about to launch her jams and her products,’ she tells the show.
