‘This will be PAINFUL for Prince Harry & Meghan Markle’ | Palace Confidential

‘This will be PAINFUL for Prince Harry & Meghan Markle’ | Palace Confidential An interview by a former royal staffer Jason Knauf has meant claims that Meghan Markle bullied staff have resurfaced – this will be ‘painful’ for the Duke and Duchess of Sussex just as their new Netflix series is about to begin. That’s the view of Daily Mail royal expert Richard Eden. ‘There’s no doubt that this interview will be painful and worrying for Harry and Meghan,’ he tells royal talk show Palace Confidential. ‘It will worry Meghan in the sense of what’s next? Is this going to open the floodgates? Will he be saying more? And will others speak out because remember there’s so much still to come out.’ The Daily Mail’s Royal Editor Rebecca English meanwhile says that at the time the claims first came out, Harry and Meghan denied them and describing them as ‘part of an ongoing smear campaign’ against the couple, and her in particular. ‘[These were] very strong words and yet they’ve never followed up on that, and I think a lot of people have been led to the conclusion that that’s because there is a certain amount of truth in them,’ she tells the show. ‘Because if not, why not sue? They’ve sued over pretty much everything else.’ Rebecca also reveals what King Charles said to her this week and why Catherine has got everyone talking about her jam this week, (and will that annoy fellow jam-maker Meghan?).
