Days Of Our Lives Spoilers –  Ron Carlivati Steps Down As Head Writer Of DOOL

The head writer for the past seven years has left the Peacock soap. Ron Carlivati will be replaced by Jeanne Marie Ford and Paula Cwikly immediately, reports Deadline. Carvalit’s final episodes will be aired through April 2025.

Carlivati already has a long-spanning career in the daytime genre. He previously wrote for As The World Turns, Sunset Beach, and The Young and the Restless. He went on to work as an associate and head writer for Days of Our Lives.

Carlivati took on the role of head writer during the show’s transition. A year ago, a nine-week investigation was launched into the allegations against DOOL director/co-executive producer Albert Alarr. Around 30 to 40 people were involved. Most were women who were being interviewed.

They accused him of nonconsensual physical contact, inappropriate behavior, and fostering a toxic environment. Alarr departed from Days of Our Lives in August. Earlier this year, Arianne Zucker filed a lawsuit against Corday Productions and Alarr. She claims she was fired from the show for speaking out about her experience with sexual harassment.

DOOL Spoilers – Move To Y&R Or B&B?

Ron Carlivati could move to The Young and the Restless or The Bold and the Beautiful. This was brought up on two different threads on Reddit. Y&R and B&B fans are sharing their thoughts on Carlivati making the potential soap rounds.

“He’ll probably have Sharon running around with a red-headed wig calling herself Phyllis,” one Y&R fan joked.

“He’d do a time jump. Fast forward a year and Summer is still saying Harrison is ‘my son,’” another user wrote.

“Unfortunately we’re stuck with Brad and his trolling until the bitter end. I don’t even think CBS could pressure him to step down,” one B&B fan commented.

“Gosh no. He ruined Days. There must be someone else,” a third suggested.
