While there’s no doubt that the entire daytime television community is in mourning, his General Hospital co-star Jon Lindstrom paid a touching tribute to Johnny on social media.

General Hospital star Jon Lindstrom has shared a touching tribute to Johnny Wactor. The actor was only 37 during the time of his death.
The actor was fatally shot in Los Angeles after three men were trying to steal a catalytic converter. One of the suspects pulled out a gun and shot JOhnny before the men drove off in a vehicle.
The actor was taken to a hospital where he was pronounced dead.
Jon wrote, “When the tears slow down, I am literally sick to my stomach at this news. Johnny was one of those rare young men in this business who was kind, unassuming, humble, and always thought about other people.”
He continued, “A talented young guy who just wanted to share that talent with the world. I wish I had enough love to fill the hole that his loved ones must feel right now, but I know that’s impossible.”
