Prince William and King Charles have been aligned on some major issues which they have been working on in the capacity of their own royal positions.

The monarch has been a life-long advocate of the environment and William has been following in his footsteps to support similar causes.

On Wednesday, as King Charles and Queen Camilla returned to UK from Canada after the 20-hour visit, Prince William shared an important update about the documentary he has been associated with about rangers as it released its first episode.

Previously, the Kensington Palace had shared a video statement from William he brought attention to the crucial role played by rangers.

William shared that he had the “privilege of meeting a number of rangers throughout [his] life” and he saw “first-hand” the vital work they have been doing.

As their stories are often overlooked or misunderstood, William stressed that protecting the planet has become “one of the dangerous jobs on the planet”.

In the episode the inspiring journey of Modiki, a reformed poacher who now dedicates his life to protect the wildlife he once hunted, is shared. He patrols Dzanga-Sangha Protected Area which is home to Africa’s highest concentration of forest elephants and lowland gorillas.

The first episode release comes at the heels of King Charles return from his significant Canada visit.

While Charles had travelled to the country several times before, this was his first visit as the monarch. While the trip was brief, the King accomplished key milestones including opening the Canadian Parliament first time in 68 years and delivering a powerful speech.
