Princess Beatrice is only royal able to ‘initiate peace’ in Harry/William rift as brothers reunite at uncle’s funeral
Princess Beatrice is the only member of the royal family who’s able to “initiate peace” in Prince Harry’s ongoing feud with Prince William, according to a former palace staffer.
William, 42, and his family were dealt a tough start to the year following his wife Kate Middleton and father King Charles’ respective cancer diagnoses.
As his workload increased while Kate, 42, and Charles, 75, took on less amid their treatment, William’s feud with his younger brother has continued to play out in the public eye.
As the feud continues to rage between the two camps, Beatrice has “spoken to the two brothers to try to improve the situation,” The Post hears.
Eugenie, 34, has even visited the Sussexes in the US, with the pair seen watching the Super Bowl together in 2022.
She was also the only figure from the royal family to make an appearance in his Netflix docuseries “Harry & Meghan.”
Meanwhile, Beatrice has also remained close to the Prince and Princess of Wales.
Still, it appears as though Beatrice may have her work cut out for her as the brothers reportedly did not speak to each other while attending their uncle’s funeral earlier this week.
After reports suggesting Harry was set to skip the event over safety concerns, the duke ultimately flew to the UK for an incognito appearance at the memorial service.
The funeral marked the first time the feuding brothers were under the same roof since King Charles’ coronation in May 2023.
It comes as royal expert Kinsey Schofield suggested that Markle is regretful over the way her dramatic exit from the royal family went down four years ago.
Among the myriad of lucrative projects the “Suits” alum and Harry released since their shocking departure from the royal fold — dubbed Megxit — the couple sat down with Oprah Winfrey for a bombshell tell-all interview in 2021.
During her interview, the Sussexes said royals had raised concerns over the darkness of baby Archie’s skin.
“She and Prince Harry deeply regret the royal racist controversy. Meghan wanted the takeaway from their Oprah interview to be about her mental health,” Schofield said, adding that the former actress’s comments “backfired.”
