Reconciliation between Kate Middleton and Prince Harry appears very unlikely, expert says

Kate's absence from Harry's London trip signals ongoing feud

It seems like a reconciliation between Kate Middleton and Prince Harry is just wishful thinking, according to a royal expert. The Duke of Sussex, 39, made a trip to London this week to commemorate the 10th anniversary of the Invictus Games, marking his first visit since learning about his estranged sister-in-law’s cancer diagnosis in March.

However, hopes for a royal reconciliation were dashed when Harry’s representatives confirmed that he would not be meeting with his family, specifically King Charles, due to the king’s busy schedule. Additionally, no members of the royal family attended the Invictus celebrations at St Paul’s Cathedral.

Former royal butler Grant Harrold, who worked for Charles for seven years when he was the Prince of Wales, expressed his skepticism about a royal reunion. He told The Post, “I always used to say I think there is a possibility, but as time goes on and the more we hear and see, I’m thinking that a reunion between them is more and more unlikely. I always thought Kate would have been the one between them that would have broken that because she had a good relationship with Harry.”

Harrold continued, “However, as time goes on, I think that happening is becoming less and less likely.” He emphasized that the chances of a reconciliation are diminishing over time.

Middleton’s role in reconciliation becoming less likely

Last week, it was reported that Prince William, the heir to the throne, had no interest in meeting up with his younger brother. This adds to the growing skepticism surrounding the possibility of a reconciliation within the royal family.

The absence of any royal family members at the Invictus celebrations and the reluctance of Prince William to reunite with Prince Harry paint a bleak picture for those hoping for a reconciliation. The situation seems to be increasingly unlikely as time goes on.

It’s clear that the rift between Prince Harry and his family runs deep, and it may take more than just a visit to London for the wounds to heal. As Harrold put it, “I always used to say I think there is a possibility, but as time goes on and the more we hear and see, I’m thinking that a reunion between them is more and more unlikely.”
