In formal documents, Prince Harry has claimed that the United States is his “new country/state,” renouncing his residency in the United Kingdom.
According to records obtained by the Daily Mail, filings released by Companies House state that “Prince Henry Charles Albert David Duke of Sussex” indicated that his “New Country/State Usually Resident” is currently the United States.Prior to deciding to resign from their royal duties in 2020 and relocate to Southern California, where they raise their two children, Prince Archie, age 4, and Princess Lilibet, age 2, the Duke of Sussex had listed his place of residence as the United Kingdom.
According to the New York Post, the documentation was submitted for the royal’s travels through Travalyst, a sustainable travel company the duke established in 2019.

The duke delivered his first public remarks on Wednesday at the organization’s annual general meeting, following his sister-in-law Kate Middleton’s unexpected news on March 22 that she had been diagnosed with cancer following “major abdominal surgery” in January.

The British public does not seem to think highly of Prince Harry or Markle; Middleton, who recently surpassed her husband Prince William to become the most popular royal in the country, is by far the least popular of the royal couple.
