“Shock Revelation: Colin Salmon Exposes George Knight’s Terrifying Brush with Death in EastEnders Self-Harm Nightmare!

TV legend Colin Salmon reveals George Knight’s danger of death in EastEnders self harm horror

George Knight has had a really difficult 2024 in EastEnders so far, and now actor Colin Salmon has revealed a dangerous road ahead.

Over the past few months, George has discovered a lot of things about his adoptive parents – most shockingly the fact that dad Eddie Knight (Christopher Fairbank) murdered his biological father.

With the truth having come to light, George has resorted to some dangerous coping mechanisms, which Colin has revealed could leave him in danger of death.

Viewers have previously seen George return home with bloodied knuckles, and it will soon come to light that he has taken to underground boxing as a form of self-harm.

‘I think if you look at it as self-harm, it’s just a version of that. He needs to feel something, and he sort of implodes as opposed to explodes,’ Colin explained.

‘In some respects, it could be a lot worse as he says he keeps his violence in the ring. Obviously he is risking his life, but this is all he’s ever known – he looks for certainty in the ring but sadly it’s a very dangerous road.’

Things get worse for George when he decides to testify against Eddie at his trial, but his dad issues a terrifying threat.

Amid his struggles, daughters Anna and Gina Knight (Molly Rainford and Francesca Henry), fiancé Elaine Peacock (Harriet Thorpe) and ex-wife Cindy Beale (Michelle Collins) have tried to get through to him, though he has been pushing them away in a bid to protect them, and that is set to continue amid Eddie’s trial.

‘He is falling on the grenade, and he knows what’s in it, and it’s too much but he knows the damage it could do to his loved ones. I think sadly he mistakes sadness for shame, and I think having Eddie as a role model hasn’t helped him to become a fully rounded man.

George and Phil sat in the dark in the Boxing Den office in EastEnders
‘I think it’s a very male thing to do but he is learning a lot from his daughters, and they’re teaching him a lot. I think the relationship he has with Phil helps too as they are two men who are alphas but can talk about things openly.’

At the end of the week, things get even worse when Gloria falls ill. Will George be able to open up to his family, or will he continue to suffer alone?
