The potential mediator to help Meghan Markle re-connect with Kate Middleton
Meghan Markle is reportedly exploring new ways to approach Kate Middleton after previous efforts to bridge the gap were unsuccessful.
The Duke and Duchess of Sussex initially reached out to the Princess of Wales, with Prince Harry sending warm notes in an attempt to rekindle their relationship following Meghan‘s cancer diagnosis. However, Middleton reportedly did not respond, leaving the Sussexes at a standstill
The potential mediator
In light of this, Meghan has reportedly decided to reach out to Kate‘s sister, Pippa Middleton, as a potential mediator.
According to Heat Magazine, Meghan and Pippa shared a friendly rapport before Meghan and Harry‘s departure from royal duties.
An insider close to Meghan revealed that she believes Pippa might be a helpful intermediary, especially after noticing Pippa’s supportive presence with Kate at Wimbledon recently.
The source added that Meghan and Harry see re-establishing any form of connection with Pippa as a positive step, despite their current estrangement from the royal family.
“Pippa‘s always been very reasonable and level-headed towards Meghan, so it’s not totally out of left field,” the source said.
“Harry and Meghan are still trying to make inroads with the royals themselves, but they’re not having a lot of luck, which is why Meghan‘s looking at people who might be able to help build bridges.
“Pippa is someone who she and Harry both get along well with, and they know she’s got a lot of sway with Kate, so the plan now is to approach her and explain how sincere they are in their hopes of patching up things.
“Scoring any type of friendship with Pippa would be a huge win, even if it does seem like a long shot given how unpopular they are in royal circles right now.”
